· Do you experience soreness of feet on a regular basis?

· Do you have heel pain on a regular basis?

· Do you spend the majority of your day standing and walking?

· Does walking or running result in joint pain to your ankle, knee, hip and back?

· Do you have visible foot problems such as bunions, fallen arches, calluses, or corns?

· Do your feet “toe out” or “toe in” when walking?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, then you may be a candidate for

orthotic therapy.

What is Orthotic Therapy?

The function of the foot as we walk has an impact on the rest of the musculoskeletal system. If the foot functions abnormally such as over pronating or supinating, the joints and soft tissues of the rest of the body will function differently.

Overtime, this change in function causes accumulated stress and pain to the muscles of the body and the weight bearing joints “wear and tear” at a faster rate increasing the risk for osteoarthritis and other degenerative diseases of the bones.

The use of an orthotic device under the foot eliminates the stress to the rest of the body, allowing for improved function and bone alignment.
